A Two Gallon Pennsylvania Cobalt Blue Stencil Decorated Salt Glazed Stoneware Jug, Dilliner & Stantz, New Geneva, Circa 1876-1877. The cylindrical jar with semi-rounded rim above a tooled shoulder, the stencil decoration inscribed, "Dilliner & Stantz / NEW / GENEVA / PA.", above a large "2". With Albany slip interior.
Dimensions: Height 12 1/4in; diameter 7 1/4in.
Provenance: Property from a Buck County, Pennsylvania Private Collection.
Condition:
With heavy wear and hairline cracks to the backside of jar overall. Crazing and discoloration. Imperfections from manufacture throughout.
