Georgian Style Marquetry Inlaid and Figured Walnut Carved Games Table - A Georgian Style Marquetry Inlaid and Figured Walnut Carved Games Table, 20th Century. Of substantial proportions, the rectangular hinged top with shaped front, that swivels a quarter turn to reveal a bookmatched highly figured walnut playing surface, above a conforming frieze centered by an applied carved scallop shell, flanked by foliates, raised on cabriole legs with shell carved knees and carved and acanthus carved pad feet. Dimensions: Height 30 3/4in; width 36in; depth closed 18in; depth open 36 1/4in. Provenance:  Property from a Local Collection. Condition: Structurally sound. The top with wear to the finish. Otherwise general marks, wear, nicks, abrasions, surface scratches and small losses.
