Louis XVI Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Mahogany Tambour Front Cabinet - A Louis XVI Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Mahogany Tambour Front Cabinet, Late 19th Century. The rectangular cabinet having a pair of tambour sliding doors, enclosing an interior with adjustable shelves, raised on turned feet, surmounted by a Breche d'Alep marble top. Dimensions: Height 41in; width 72 3/4in; depth 15 1/2in. Provenance: Property from a Philadelphia Main Line Collection. Condition: Structurally sound. General marks, wear, nicks, abrasions and surface scratches to the case. General wear and toning to bronze mounts. The marble top having old horizontal spline repairs to the underside. Minor fleabites and small chips along edges. The front right legs with an old break and glued repair. With key.
