George III Inlaid Mahogany Linen Press, Early 19th Century - A George III Inlaid Mahogany Linen Press, Early 19th Century. The upper section with a concave molded and inlaid cornice over a pair of string inlaid doors, enclosing five dovetailed linen slides, the lower section fitted with two short over two long drawers above a base molding, raised on 'French' bracket feet. Dimensions: Height 84 1/4in; width 51 1/4in; depth 21in. Provenance: Property from a Local Collection. Condition: Structurally sound. In an overall restored condition. Minor patches and repairs to doors correcting shrinkage. No keys.
