British Colonial Letter Box: Cameron Highlanders and Royal Air Force Interest - A British Colonial Carved Hardwood Letter / Stationary Box, First Quarter 20th Century. The double-hinged lid enclosing a divided interior with removable partitions, over a single drawer. Each lid with a central low relief carved medallion, the left side with the 'Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders' cap badge, and the right with the badge of the 'Royal Air Force'. Dimensions: Height 10 1/2in; width 15 1/4in; depth 7in.   Condition: Significant shrinkage to the hinged left lid does not sit completely flush. Scattered marks and wear throughout. Lacking iron lock, no key.
