A Good Satsuma Japanese Vase - A Good Satsuma Japanese Vase  A large example with unusual decoration. Urn form with a bird's nest opening, leaves, berries and reserves in low relief on a dark blue and gilt ground decorated with various mons. Marked as pictured.  Dimensions: 8in diameter, the height is 14in.  Condition: Minor chips to the relief leaf edges, painted touch-up to the raised berries,   otherwise good condition with expected surface wear.
