George III Mahogany Chest-on-Chest, Early 19th Century - A George III Mahogany Chest-on-Chest, Early 19th Century The upper section with removable molded cornice above two short over three long graduated drawers, resting on a lower section with three long graduated drawers, ending in flared 'French' feet. Oak drawer sides and bottoms. Dimensions: Height 75 1/4in; width 47 1/2in; depth 23 1/2in. Condition: Structurally sound. Scattered small losses throughout to waist molding, cockbeading and feet. Vertical age cracks to sides of case. Nicks, scratches, marks, old breaks and losses to veneers throughout. Small patches and filling-in to some joints and veneers to front of case. Drawers each with locks, no keys.
