The shaped crest above a pierced splat, flanked by straight stiles and down swept arms over a rectangular paneled seat, raised on straight legs joined by a box stretcher. (2)
Dimensions: Height 40 1/2in; width 24 1/2in; depth of seat 17 3/4in; seat height 20 1/2in.
Condition:
Each chair is structurally sound with wear and rubbing to the frames. Minor cracks to splat carving. One chair with a glued repair to the shoe rail above back of seat. Shrinkage to the paneled seats. One chair with a patched strip to paneled seat.
