Large English Turned Exotic Hardwood Wassail Bowl, 18th Century - A Large English Turned Exotic Hardwood Wassail Bowl, 18th Century With finely turned collar and waist molded decoration, raised on a substantial circular foot by a narrow stem. Having a later silver mounted rim and foot,  Pairpoint Brothers, London, 1900. Dimensions: Height 9in; diameter 8 1/2in. Provenance: Property from a Local Collection. Condition: Tarnishing and minor bending to silver mounts, polish residue in crevices. There are several cracks where the bowl meets the pedestal foot. Dust in crevices. The later silver mounting is likely hiding damage to the turned rim and foot of the bowl.
