Life-Size Carved Alabaster Model of a Seated Spaniel, Late 19th Century - A Continental Life-Size Carved Alabaster Model of a Seated Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, 19th Century Raised on a black slate base. Dimensions: Dog 17 1/4in; width 17in; depth 9 1/2in; Base 13 1/2 x 19 1/2in. Provenance: From a Philadelphia Estate. Condition: The alabaster figure with restoration to the lower half. The figure has been broken and repaired to the legs and rear. Otherwise typical scattered surface wear, small losses and fleabites to the figure. The edges of the base with minor chips, fleabites and abrasions.
