A Pair of English Sterling Silver Monteith Bowls - A Pair of English Sterling Silver Monteith Bowls  Each with a low molded foot below a body with lion mask and stirrup handles, all below the putto and C scroll decorated top edge. Hallmarked for London, Lionel Alfred Crichton (Crichton Bros.) and the year 1911.  Dimensions: each is 7in diameter and 5 1/2in tall. The total approximate weight is 38.7 ozt.    Provenance: From a Philadelphia estate. Condition: Good condition with expected surface wear.
