A Chinese Carved Malachite Covered Vase/Lamp - A Chinese Carved Malachite Covered Vase/Lamp  A large example decorated with peaches, birds, a Qilin, and bats. Later mounted as a lamp with a carved giltwood base and a fringed shade. The finial is jade.  Dimensions: the vase is 9in x 4 1/2in and 12 tall. The shade has a diameter of 17 1/2in, the overall height is 34in.  Provenance: From a Philadelphia estate. Condition: Losses and old glued repairs to the malachite. We cannot guarantee the safety or functionality of the electrical components.
