Two American Coin Silver Julep Cups - Two American Coin Silver Julep Cups   An 18th century example marked for Ephraim Brasher, New York and an engraved cup marked for Samuel Kirk from the early 19th century.  Dimensions: the Brasher example is 3in diameter and 3 1/4in tall, the Kirk is 2 3/4in diameter and 3 1/2in tall. The total approximate weight is 8 ozt.  Provenance: from a Philadelphia estate. Condition: There is a short split at the top edge of the Brasher cup, both show some expected wear.
