Queen Anne Maple Chest of Drawers, Mid 18th Century - A Queen Anne Maple Chest of Drawers, Mid 18th Century Formerly the upper section of a highboy. The molded cornice above a four thumb molded graduated drawers, base molding centered by a carved fan drop pendant, ending in bracket feet. Dimensions: Height 38 1/2in; width 38 1/4in; depth 20in. Condition: Structurally sound. Rose head nail and dovetailed construction. Traces of a later painted surface, now removed. The brass pulls are replaced. The base molding / feet are later added. General marks, wear, nicks, abrasions and surface scratches commensurate with age and use.
