Mid-Atlantic Federal Cherry One Drawer Stand, Circa 1800 - A Mid-Atlantic Federal Cherry One Drawer Stand, Circa 1800 The square top overhanging a single dovetailed frieze drawer with incising to the front, raised on square tapered legs. Tulip poplar secondary wood. Dimensions: Height 27 1/2in; width 19in; depth 16 1/4in. Provenance:  From a Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia Collection. Condition: Structurally sound. Retaining an old refinish. Original brass, heavy toning overall. The two board top with slight warping. Each of the four corners have plugged holes probably hiding where screws were drilled fastening the top to once correct warping. General marks, wear, nicks, abrasions and surface scratches commensurate with age and use.
