Four Pieces of American Salt Glazed Stoneware, Second Half 19th Century - Four Pieces of American Salt Glazed Stoneware, Second Half 19th Century Comprising three two-gallon crocks with cobalt blue decoration, each having a hand-painted bird beneath an impressed '2' and applied lug handles to either side; and a table jug with cobalt blue slip trailed leaf decoration to the front. Each having an Albany slip glazed interior. (4) Dimensions: Height of jug 9in; width 6in; depth 6in; Height of tallest crock 12in; diameter 8 3/4in; Height of matched pair 9in; diameter 10in. Provenance: From a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Collection.  Condition: The jug with small chips and fleabites along the rim/spout. The largest crock with a small loss to the side of rim. Each of the smaller bird crocks have a tight hairline and are missing one handle to the sides. Minor expected rim chips and fleabites.
