Large Chinese Export Porcelain Famille Rose Punch Bowl, Mid 18th Century - A Large Chinese Export Porcelain Famille Rose Punch Bowl, Mid 18th Century Decorated with blossoming flowers, animals and insects overall in the famille rose palette, the inner border having six reserves with bianco sopra bianco enameled decoration. With applied label to the underside for Matthew & Elisabeth Sharpe Antiques. Together with a silver plated adjustable stand. (2) Dimensions: Height 6 3/4in; diameter 15 1/4in. Provenance: Purchased with Matthew & Elisabeth Sharpe Antiques, Spring Mill, Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, October 15, 1979. Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Condition: Examined under UV light. There is no fluorescence. Typical imperfections from manufacture. Rubbing and wear to decoration commensurate with age and use.
