Uncommon Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Wall Plaque and Sconce, 18th Century - An Uncommon Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Wall Plaque and Sconce, 18th Century  Qianlong period. The rectangular plate decorated with figures in a garden setting and a flying bat at each corner, the candleholder in the from of two Qilin with open mouths.  Dimensions:  Height 8 1/4in; width 5 1/2in; depth 6in.  Provenance: Purchased with Earle D. Vandekar of Knightsbridge Inc., New York, NY, May 23, 1986. Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Condition: Expected wear to the decoration, overall good condition. The metal pin that holds the candleholder in place is a modern replacement.
