English Delftware Tin Glazed Earthenware Charger, 18th Century - An English Delftware Tin Glazed Earthenware Charger, 18th Century Decorated with a large 'peacock' motif with vase and flowers to the center and similar stylized floral motifs and swirls to the border, finished with a chrome yellow rim. The foot rim is pierced to the underside for hanging, and with a hand-painted blue underglaze mark.   Dimensions: Height 2in; Diameter 12 1/4in. Provenance: Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Condition: Examined under UV light, there is no fluorescence. Typical firing and glazing imperfections. Wear, roughness, chips and flakes to rim and foot. Stilt marks visible to reverse.
