Four English Delftware Tin Glazed Earthenware Flower Bricks, 18th Century - Four English Delftware Tin Glazed Earthenware Flower Bricks, 18th Century Each decorated with hand-painted floral sprays, foliage and tendrils. Two having a shaped base. One with applied label to the underside for Matthew & Elisabeth Sharpe Antiques, purchased October 15, 1979. (4) Dimensions: Height of larger bricks 3 1/2in; width 6 1/4in; depth 3 1/2in; Height of smaller 3in; width 5 1/4in; depth 2 1/2in. Provenance: Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Condition: Each with wear commensurate with age and use. With typical firing and glazing imperfections throughout, some minor surface scratching. Each with scattered small losses, flaking, rims alongs edges and losses overall; some heavier than others.
