English Delftware Tin Glazed Polychrome Decorated Charger: Lady Fortuna - An English Delftware Tin Glazed Polychrome Decorated Earthenware Charger: Lady Fortuna,  Mid 18th Century In three colors, centered by a hand-painted seated female figure of Lady Fortuna holding a cornucopia, surrounded by flowers and foliage. The large border having five reserves decorated with floral motifs. The foot rim is pierced to the underside for hanging. Dimensions: Diameter 13 1/4in. Provenance: Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Condition: Under UV light there is no fluorescence. Typical firing and glazing imperfections. Wear, roughness and flakes to rim and foot. Stilt marks visible to reverse.
