In what appears to be the original gilt gesso frame. The stretcher is labeled for Charles Kapner Gallery.  Dimensions: 30 1/2in x 25 1/2in, the frame 36 1/2in x 31 1/2in.  Provenance: Sold, Roan Auctions, Williamsport, Pennsylvania, ”The Private Collection of Loenida S. and the Late Bud Sweely”, October 17, 1984, Lot 15. Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Condition: The canvas was laid down upon a wooden panel, examination under UV light shows minor inpainting. The frame has scattered losses and cracks to the gesso.
