Delft Tin Glazed Polychrome Decorated Earthenware Teapot, 18th Century - A Delft Tin Glazed Polychrome Decorated Earthenware Teapot, 18th Century Pear shaped, decorated in three colors with blossoming trees,  flowers, birds and insects in the Chinese taste, the lid with a seated foo dog. Mark to the underside. Dimensions: Height 5in; width from spout across handle 6 1/2in; depth 4in. Provenance: Purchased with Aronson Antiquairs, Amsterdam, May 22, 1980. Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Condition: Under UV light there is no fluorescence. Typical firing and glazing imperfections. Wear, roughness,  flakes and minor fleabites to rim,  foot, lid and spout.
