Two English Creamware Teapots, Circa 1770 - An English Creamware Teapot, Leeds, Circa 1770  Of globular form with crabstock handle,  spout and bud finial. Decorated with a hand-painted plow and scrolls below two inscription panels,  'The Plough',  'God Speed' and a bushel of wheat to the reverse. Together with a similar Leeds creamware teapot. (2) Dimensions:  Height 5 1/2in; width across handle to spout 8in; depth 4 1/2in. Provenance:  Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate.   Condition: Examined under UV light. Each with restoration. The lid to ”The Plough, God Speed” is restored, minor expected glaze wear and chips, expected surface wear. Imperfections from manufacture.
