Two Staffordshire English Pottery Enameled Salt Glazed Teapots, Circa 1760 - Two Staffordshire English Pottery Enameled Salt Glazed Teapots, Circa 1760 Each of globular form decorated with flowers in a bright enamel palette with a green and puce wash to the lids and rims. One teapot having a crabstock handle, spout and knob; the other with crabstock handle, figural spout and mushroom finial, purchased with La Ganke antiques, New York, NY, August 5, 1980. (2) Dimensions: Height of teapots 4in; width across handle to spouts 7 1/2 and 8in; depth 4 1/2in. Provenance: Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Condition: Examined under UV light. Each teapot with restoration to the end of spouts. The teapot with crabstock knob to lid has restoration to entire lid. Otherwise good condition, typical wear and surface abrasions.
