In a carved giltwood and gesso frame. Dimensions: 18 3/4 x 24 3/4in; Frame 23 1/4 x 29in. Provenance: Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Footnote: Harry Sefarbi was born in Chester, Pennsylvania, attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia and the Barnes Foundation in Lower Merion,  later becoming a teacher at the Barnes Foundation between 1953 until 2008. Condition: The frame with typical wear and rubbing back to the gilding and gesso surface.
