Neoclassical Style Scagliola Inlaid White Marble Fire Surround, Late 19th Century - A Neoclassical Style Scagliola Inlaid White Marble Fire Surround / Mantel,  Late 19th Century The rectangular mantel above an anthemion carved crown molding over a sage green scagliola inlaid frieze and mantel legs, resting on a rectangular hearth. In four parts. Dimensions: Height 49 1/4in; width 58 3/4in; depth of top 8 1/2in; depth of base 15in; interior 35 x 24in. Provenance: Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Condition: Please note, this lot was photographed in two sessions (legs + mantel) and photoshopped together. There are no missing elements where the legs and mantel frieze meet at corners. In four parts. With general marks, wear, nicks, abrasions, scuffs, surface scratches and small losses. Chips and fleabites along edges of marble. Small losses to scagliola inlay along frieze carving.
