Matched Pair of Delft Tin Glazed Polychrome 'Peacock' Plates, 18th Century - A Matched Pair of Delft Tin Glazed Polychrome Decorated Earthenware Plates, 18th Century Each decorated in five colors with 'peacock' motif with vase and flowers to the center. Dimensions: Diameter 8 3/4in. Provenance: Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Condition: Under UV light there is no fluorescence. Typical firing and glazing imperfections. Wear, roughness, chips and flakes to rim and foot. Minor crazing, small hairline to reverse of one plate. Stilt marks visible to reverse.
