English Delftware Tin Glazed Earthenware Punch Bowl, 18th Century - An English Delftware Tin Glazed Earthenware Punch Bowl, Probably Bristol, 18th Century Decorated in the Chinese taste with foliage, floral sprays, flower heads, stylized floral motifs and insects, finished with an ochre rim and high foot. Dimensions: Height 4 3/4in; diameter 10 1/2in. Provenance: Purchased with John C. Newcomer & Associates, Funkstown, Maryland, June 23, 1988. Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Condition: Examined under UV light, there is no fluorescence. With a significant hairline crack, running nearly the full diameter. Scattered small chips and flaking to rim and foot.
