Three Pieces of Delftware Tin Glazed Earthenware, 18th Century - Three Pieces of Delftware Tin Glazed Earthenware, 18th Century Comprising a pair of octagonal plates and an octagonal platter. Each decorated in the Chinese taste, the pair of plates with blooming flowers to the centers and floral sprays to the borders, the platter with a landscape having pagodas, foliage and birds. One of the plates with an Earle D. Vandekar foil label to the underside. (3) Dimensions: Diameters of pair 8 3/4in; Height of platter 10 1/4in; width 14in. Provenance: Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Condition: Examined under UV light, the platter with fluorescence. The platter with restoration to the top edge of rim and touch-up along borders. Each with minor scattered wear, small chips, losses and flaking throughout.
