Two Delftware Tin Glazed Polychrome Decorated Chargers, 18th Century - Two Delftware Tin Glazed Polychrome Decorated Earthenware Chargers, 18th Century In five colors, each centered by decoration in the Chinese taste of gardens, flowers and foliage, the large borders decorated with similar stylized floral motifs. (2) Dimensions: Heights 2 1/4in; diameters 13 1/4in and 13 12in. Provenance: Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Condition: Under UV light there is no fluorescence. Typical firing and glazing imperfections. Wear, roughness and flakes to rim and foot. Crazing to surface. Stilt marks visible to reverse. The foot rim of one charger has a loss where it is pierced to the underside for hanging.
