Two Delftware Tin Glazed Decorated Earthenware Chargers, Mid 18th Century - Two Delftware Tin Glazed Decorated Earthenware Chargers, Mid 18th Century Each decorated in the Chinese taste. One charger having a large floral bouquet and vase to the raised center with trellis diapering to the border; the other charger having a lobed border and scalloped rim with stylized floral motifs and foliage overall, the raised center decorated with a chinoiserie scene centered by a seated female figure. (2) Dimensions: Diameters 11 3/4in and 13 1/2in.  Provenance: Property from a Greater Philadelphia Estate. Condition: Examined under UV light, there is no fluorescence. Typical firing and glazing imperfections. Wear, roughness and flakes to rim and foot of each. Stilt marks visible to the undersides of one.
