Nailed construction throughout. Dimensions: Height 8 1/4in; width 10 3/4in; depth 5in. Provenance: Purchased with Tewksbury Antiques, Tewksbury, Massachusetts, December 2, 1993. From a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Collection. Condition: In overall good condition. General marks, wear, abrasions and surface scratches. Lacking hasp to the lid and front of chest. The hinges and screws and later replacements. With owner's hand-painted inventory number to the underside.
