Group of Tin and Sheet Iron Lighting Devices and Accessories, 18th-19th Century - An Assembled Group of Tin and Sheet Iron Lighting Devices and Accessories, 18th-19th Century Comprising a tin Ipswich Betty lamp; a hanging tin fluid lamp / sconce with threaded double nozzles; a sheet iron 'hogscraper' push-up candlestick, stamped 'SHAW'; a cylindrical black-painted tin candlestick / container with flint and iron striker; two tin 'witch's hat' candle snuffers; a pierced tin lantern fragment (lacking glass); and a punched tin hanging candle holder. (9) Dimensions: Heights range from 3 3/4in to 9in. Provenance: From a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Collection. Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use throughout. Each in generally good condition overall. Bending and small losses throughout. Some with hand-painted inventory numbers to the underside.
