Five American Lead and Manganese Glazed Redware Ovoid Jugs - Five American Lead and Manganese Glazed Redware Ovoid Jugs, First Half 19th Century Comprising a 3 3/4in yellow and black slip decorated jug,  purchased in New Hope, Pennsylvania, 1976; a 6 1/2in jug; a 6 1/2in jug with a green/brown glaze; a 7 1/4in jug; and a 9 3/4in jug. (5) Dimensions: Heights range from 3 3/4in to 9 3/4in. Provenance: From a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Collection. Condition: Each in generally good condition overall. Typical glazing and firing flaws from manufacture. Crazing throughout. Each with minor chipping and flaking to spout rim and foot rim. The 7 1/4in jug with a small chip los to the body. Some with hand-painted inventory numbers to the underside.
