Two Miniature Carved Blanket Chests, 19th Century - Two Miniature Carved Blanket Chests, 19th Century Comprising a miniature cherry blanket chest with fan carving to the hinged lid and front, bracket feet; and a carved oak paneled miniature blanket chest in the 17th century style, with snipe hinges, purchased in Pennsylvania August, 30, 1990. (2) Dimensions: Height of larger 6 1/2in; width 11 1/2in; depth 6 1/4in; Height of smaller 4 3/4in; width 9 1/2in; depth 4in. Provenance: From a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Collection. Condition: Each in overall good condition. General marks and wear. The cherry chest likely with replaced leather hinges. The oak chest with scattered minor breaks and glued repairs. One leg with an old glued repair.
