A Partial Service of Samson Chinese Armorial Style Dinnerware - A Partial Service of Samson Chinese Armorial Style Dinnerware  Late 19th century, each piece with a crest that include the motto ”Esse Quam Videri”, comprising: twenty-four 9 1/2” plates, eleven 10 1/2” scalloped dinner plates, nine 8” salad plates, fourteen 7 1/2” plates, thirteen 5 1/2” berry bowls, five 2 1/2” tall coffee cups, eight 1 3/4” tall teacups, and eight 3 1/2” pot de creme.  Provenance: From a local collection. Condition: One of the 9 1/2” plates has a rim chip, one of the berry bowls has a rim chip, one of the pot de creme has a small chip to the foot, otherwise all in good condition with minor surface wear from use.
