European Articles, Metal, Including Mortars - European Articles, Metal, Including Mortars  Comprising:  Three cast bronze larger mortars, 18th century or earlier, two of which possibly being Spanish Renaissance with column and face decoration, there is also a pair of smaller cast bronze mortars. Two bronze spoons, one 7” the other 4. A small cast bronze inkwell. A 19th century cast bronze decoration from a lamp or similar object with rococo decoration of leaves in low relief and applied Satyrs. A 20th century silver plated ashtray with decoration of a Louis XV coin marked ”made in france”. The lot also include three wooden facsimile coins.  Dimensions:  the larger mortars range from 3 to 3/4” in height, the smaller mortars are 2” in height, the cast rococo decoration piece is 5” in height, the ashtray is 4 1/2” in diameter, the inkwell is 2 1/2” in diameter, the wooden facsimile coins are 1 3/4” to 2 1/2” in diameter  Provenance: From Philadelphia Main Line Collection. Condition: Overall good, signs of age are present to the mortars, one of which being deformed at the bottom.
