A Large Group of English Ceramics, Early to Mid 19th Century - A Large Group of English Ceramics  Early to mid 19th century, comprising: a set of eleven 9 1/2” luncheon plates by Copeland and Garrett with rococo decoration in green and gold, a set of unmarked bowls and plates with painted blossom and gold decorations and gadrooned rims, four 9” bowls and six 10 3/4” plates, a 14” long serving platter by Royal Crown Derby dated 1839, a 18 1/2” serving platter by Davenport with hand painted decoration, a 17” long platter by Leeds with a green feathered edge, a 2 3/4” in diameter earthenware mustard pot (missing the lid) with a beaded foot and patterned sides, a helmet form creamer and three creamware cups all with conch decoration, the lot also includes five 2 3/4” in diameter teacups and a sugar with decoration in gold possibly by Worcester.  Provenance: From a local collection. Condition: The plates by Copeland and Garrett are in good condition, no chips or cracks, minor surface wear and knife marks, in the unmarked set of plates and bowls five of the plates have chips to the rim or foot and three of the bowls have chips to the rim or foot, the mustard pot has a rim chip, three pieces of the creamware have restorations or cracks.
