Charles II Joined Oak Chest of Drawers, Circa 1680 - A Charles II Joined Oak Chest of Drawers, Circa 1680 In two parts. The molded rectangular boarded top above three long applied mitre-molded drawers, all flanked by split ball and fillet turned moldings, paneled sides,  ending on turned bun feet. Oak secondary wood throughout. Dimensions: Height 35 3/4in; width 39 1/2in; depth 22in. Provenance: From a Philadelphia Main Line Collection. Condition: General marks, wear, nicks, abrasions, surface scratches, small losses patches and minor repairs throughout. The brass hardware is replaced. Several plugged holes to drawer fronts. Later bun feet. No key.
