Charles I Oak Joined Chair Table, Mid 17th Century - A Charles I Oak Joined Chair Table, Mid 17th Century The circular three board top above horizontal arms with ring turned columnar supports, the molded boarded seat above a carved frieze, raised on block and ring turned columnar legs, joined by two stretchers, ending in shoe feet. Dimensions: Height of table 30in; diameter 33 1/4in; depth of seat 18in; seat height 17 1/2in. Provenance: From a Philadelphia Main Line Collection. Condition: Structurally sound. Shrinkage and age cracks throughout. Heaviest wear to stretchers, minor warping to top. Lacking one peg to secure the top to back of armrests.
