After William Cave Thomas, Oil on Canvas - After William Cave Thomas, Oil on Canvas  A copy of the work ”The Jeweler of St. Petersburg”, probably late 19th century, unsigned, the frame labeled for F. Newcombe, gilder and frame makers, Bristol. Dimensions:  30” x 24 3/4”, the frame 42 1/2”, 37 1/2”  Provenance: From a local collection. Condition: Relined, there is a 6” tear at the lower center and another area of canvas damage at the upper left quadrant, the frame shows expected wear including some gesso loss.
