Solid pine construction. Dimensions: Height 5 3/4in; width 13 1/2in; depth 8in. Provenance: From the Dorothea & Tom Buckner Estate. Dotty (Dorothea) and Tom Buckner began collecting Early American painted primitive furniture and accessories in 1979 and over the next 22 years they were regular buyers from a number of respected Bucks County, Pennsylvania antique dealers. Condition: Retaining the original paint decorated surface. Heavy marks, wear, nicks, scuffs, abrasions and surface scratches commensurate with age and use. Minor small losses.
