Large Group of Vintage Italian Carved Alabaster Fruit, Mid 20th Century - A Large Group of Vintage Italian Carved Alabaster Fruit, Mid 20th Century Comprising apples, bananas, cherries, figs, grapes, lemons, nectarines, oranges, peaches, pears, strawberries, tangerines. Together with two primitive turned bowls, on in blue paint. (36) Dimensions: Diameter of each bowl 10in and 12in. Provenance:  From the Dorothea & Tom Buckner Estate. Dotty (Dorothea) and Tom Buckner began collecting Early American painted primitive furniture and accessories in 1979 and over the next 22 years they were regular buyers from a number of respected Bucks County, Pennsylvania antique dealers. Condition: Scattered wear, nicks, fleabites, abrasions and small losses to the fruit throughout. Each of the bowls with heavy wear.
