Group of Nine Splint Woven Baskets, 19th-20th Century - An Assembled Group of Nine Splint Woven Baskets, 19th-20th Century Comprising five circular baskets and four rectangular baskets, each having a bentwood handles. (9) Dimensions: Height of largest 10 1/2in; width 19in; depth 11 1/2in; Height of smallest 7 1/2in; diameter 7 3/4in. Provenance: From the Dorothea & Tom Buckner Estate. Dotty (Dorothea) and Tom Buckner began collecting Early American painted primitive furniture and accessories in 1979 and over the next 22 years they were regular buyers from a number of respected Bucks County, Pennsylvania antique dealers. Condition: Each in generally good condition, heavy dust accumulation. Scattered wear and small losses to several baskets.
