Group of American Country Primitives, 19th Century - An Assembled Group of American Country Primitives, 19th Century Comprising a circular splint woven basket with bentwood swing handle; two square splint woven baskets; a 8 1/2in green-painted banded pantry box; a 7 1/4in wallpaper box; a 5 3/4in banded pantry box; a 5 1/4in woven lidded box; a walnut hanging wall bracket; a green-painted towel holder. (9) Dimensions: Height of circular basket 7in; diameter 12 1/2in; Height of wall bracket 15 1/4in. Provenance:  From the Dorothea & Tom Buckner Estate. Dotty (Dorothea) and Tom Buckner began collecting Early American painted primitive furniture and accessories in 1979 and over the next 22 years they were regular buyers from a number of respected Bucks County, Pennsylvania antique dealers. Condition: Marks and wear throughout. The baskets with minor losses throughout.
