(2) Dimensions: Height of table with rounded corners 27 3/4in; width 36in; depth closed 19in; depth open 36 1/4in; Height of table with square corners 27 1/2in; width 42in; depth closed 16 3/4in; depth open 38in. Provenance: From the Dorothea & Tom Buckner Estate. Dotty (Dorothea) and Tom Buckner began collecting Early American painted primitive furniture and accessories in 1979 and over the next 22 years they were regular buyers from a number of respected Bucks County, Pennsylvania antique dealers. Condition: Each table is structurally sound. With heavy wear, marks, nicks, staining to tops, abrasions, surface scratches and small losses commensurate with age and use. The table with rounded corners has several old screws going through the top as reinforcement to base. Small losses to rule joints near hinges on both tables.
