Group of Six Lightning Devices, 19th Century - A Group of Six Lightning Devices, 19th Century Comprising a conical form punched tin lantern; a blue-painted tin and glass square lantern; and two pairs of tin single light wall sconces. (6) Dimensions: Height of lanterns 16in and 21in; Heights of sconces 10 1/4in and 11 3/4in. Provenance: From the Dorothea & Tom Buckner Estate. Dotty (Dorothea) and Tom Buckner began collecting Early American painted primitive furniture and accessories in 1979 and over the next 22 years they were regular buyers from a number of respected Bucks County, Pennsylvania antique dealers. Condition: Each piece with heavy wear, rusting, oxidation and bending. Minor dings and dents, flaking and small losses throughout. The large lantern with cracked glass.
