Assembled Group of Thirteen Painted Baskets, 19th-20th Century - An Assembled Group of Thirteen Painted Baskets, 19th-20th Century Comprising eleven splint baskets and two wicker baskets, each in various sizes, forms and painted surfaces. (13) Dimensions: Height of largest 11in; width 16 1/4in; depth 14 3/4in. Provenance:  From the Dorothea & Tom Buckner Estate. Dotty (Dorothea) and Tom Buckner began collecting Early American painted primitive furniture and accessories in 1979 and over the next 22 years they were regular buyers from a number of respected Bucks County, Pennsylvania antique dealers. Condition: Heavy wear, surface dirt and dust accumulation. Scattered wear, and losses throughout.
