Dotty (Dorothea) and Tom Buckner began collecting Early American painted primitive furniture and accessories in 1979 and over the next 22 years they were regular buyers from a number of respected Bucks County, Pennsylvania antique dealers. Condition: The red box retaining an untouched, grungy, dry and nicely worn surface. Heavy marks, wear and small losses throughout. Oxidation to nails throughout. Dust accumulation to interior. The green box retaining a grungy and nicely worn surface. Old refreshing to painted surface likely to some areas. Heavy marks, wear and small losses throughout.
